Spoiler Ahead This was book two in"The Bossman" series. Lexi Tyler is a hair stylist who is going through hard times after a car accident a year ago sue to medical bills she is being evicted from her apartment she is also behind in her rent on her chair at the saloon that she works out of. When her friend Gina tells her that she can set her up with someone she says no at first until she meets Bobby Manghini at the bar Gina works at. Bobby likes Lexi so he offers her a luxury apartment overlooking the city and spending cash every time he sees her, but one thing is clear: he is the bossman. Lexi thinks that Bobby is married and although she knows it's not smart to get involved with a married man she needs help and he is offering it to her. The sex scenes in this book were hot Lexi has never been able to have an orgasm with a man until Bobby and she also finds out that she likes to be dominated and spanked. Bobby is having some trouble with the Feds and his ex who wants to get back in with him. Bobby also has twin daughters and they want to know who he has been spending his time with. Bobby also helps her with her fear of driving by letting her drive his car. When Lexi finds out that he isn't married she leaves him believing that he felt she isn't good enough for him. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling like the first book in this series. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

This series is a great intro to romance with a bit of bite. I found some of the other "dark" romances to be overwhelming but Renee has a style the expertly mixes happily ever after with fantasy. Can't wait to read the next in this series. Happy to have stumbled across this author and look forward to creating a collection of her stories
This is a fantastic book. I absolutely loved it! The chemistry between Bobby and Lexi is off the charts and boy, does it make for a steamy hot read! It's written so very well with a very believable plot! I really liked the first in the series but I think I like this one even more! I hope there will be another in the series!
Good read. Would have liked a bit more depth but still enjoyable.
Bobby is in the mafia but he's not a bad boy kind of man. He's dominant and a take charge guy but he's not a jerk about it. I felt like the heroine accepted him back too quickly and then I got confused on thr marriage issue. But other then that, it's a decent read. I got a bit tired of the constant spanking because there's more to dominance than spanking though.
Wonderful follow up to the Bossman. This time a sweet hairdresser Lexi get evicted from her apartment and becomes a mistress to Bobby who is connected to the Mafia but is a straight businessman. They have more ups and downs then an elevator in their relationship and it's so much fun follow them. Renee delves deeply into the thoughts and acts of these characters with amazing insights. The story line is excellent and has romance, panty melting hot sex, suspense, spanking and everything else that makes this a great read.
Sweet and sexy Bobby takes Lexi under his wing as his Sugar Baby. Lexi was down on her luck, evicted from her apartment and not even able to pay the rent on the space that she used to cut hair when a friend introduced her to Bobby who is a Don. He is a mob boss with a heart of gold. I normally do not care for sugar baby stories, but this one was just too sweet.

*As a side note, I am hoping to see more of Dom the vampire some day. This character reminded me of him. Any chance of that happening???*
This is the second book in the Bossman series. I loved the first book so I knew I would like this one and I can't wait to read the third one. Bobby Manghini is an honest businessman who also happens to be connected to the mob. He's been divorced for years and has 19 year old twin daughters. Even though he's divorced he likes to have a goomah (mistress) so as not to mix his personal life with his daughters. Lexi is a hairdresser, she moved to Chicago when she was 19 years old. A year ago she was in a car accident & lost several weeks of work & has a mountain of medical bills because of her injuries. She's just been evicted from her apartment so her BFF, Gina suggests she introduce her to Bobby cause he's looking for a new goomah. Bobby sets her up in a beautiful condo, pays her bills and takes good care of her and she's starting to fall for him. She is devastated when she finds out he's not married and cuts all ties to him.
